Belgian Olympic Academy: new edition in 2023

    UCLouvain, UGent and COIB combine their academic know-how and sport management skills in a new edition of the Belgian Olympic Academy.

    PROGRAM: The program will take place over a one-year period, starting in January 2023 and ending in March 2024. It consists of 5 modules of two to three days, from 09:00 (day 1) to 17:00 (day 2). The modules will take place in various ADEPS and Sport Vlaanderen centers. During the 3-day study visit in Lausanne, we will be the guests of the International Olympic Committee.     CONTENT: During the course, professors and field experts connect you to current management issues such as strategic management, leadership, marketing, communication, sponsorship, finance, human resources management, ethics, integrity and sustainability based on the needs of sport organizations. They respect a 50/50 balance between theory and practice.

    LANGUAGE: The modules are taught in English.

    REGISTRATION FEE: The registration fee for the course is €3,950. This amount includes: access to the courses, the Business Game, accommodation and meals, the three days of international management training at the CIO in Lausanne (travel and accommodation included), support for the practical project, and the teaching materials for the courses.

    REGISTRATION PROCEDURE: Registration is open on the following page: Interested candidates can contact us for more information and to express their interest. Candidates are first invited to register online, providing their CV and a letter of motivation to attend the training. The registration period will close on November 1, 2022. The training is open to a maximum of 30 candidates. Participants will be selected on the basis of their profile, their letter of motivation and the date of their registration. They will then be contacted by email.
